The fabric of each shirt is stretched and watered as you would with a water color painting. 

Water color is one of the most beautiful mediums to work with! ( To Dream Sweetly, and Moon Fairies - from the DVD LULLABY TALES -  are both traditional water color illustrations.) 

Next, each shirt is painted with a heat sensitive paint.  Then original cut stencils, many made from fresh flowers and leaves from the local mountains, are applied. 

Then each is left to lay in the sun and let the magic happen. 

After it has dried, the flowers and things are removed to reveal what has been created.  If necessary the designs are touched up - repainting any faces or designs by hand. 

Next, each painting is 'cooked' to set the paint and make it permanent.

The shirts are then washed in cold water with gentle baby safe soap so they are ready to wear they day you receive them.

The colors will stay bright and happy when washed up to 100F (40c) - so it is recommended that they be washed only in cold to warm water.
